Personalized Product Recommendations Platform
iGoDigital data originates from our robust Customer Intelligence Engine (CIE). The CIE is a collection of APIs that allows data to be gathered and processed to drive relevant user content. The engine consists of three parts: observation, processing and delivery, two of which are accessible via API. The observation API is used to collect information about a user’s behavior. This is implemented in a set of Google-style JavaScript variables which ultimately lead to a call to a tracking pixel. This API captures a variety of information from OS and browser-to-location information, product preferences and purchase history.
After the data is collected, a variety of processes consumes the data and deduces various relationships and connections. These relationships take one of many forms including product (sku to sku), people (user1 to user2), and location or session relationships. After the process is finished, the data is ready to be used for recommendations. Currently the platform is capable of delivering content as XML, json, JavaScript, or jpg (formatted image). This content is being served in browsers, emails and mobile applications. Calls to the recommendation engine can be optimized to maximize the context of the recommendation for products, cart and purchase information as well as pricing data.
Guided Selling Tools Platform
The iGoDigital Guided Selling Tools platform allows clients to deliver completely customer-driven product recommendation experiences. Customers interact with a series of selections to determine the features and requirements that are important to them. The heart of the platform, the administration system, allows business users to define the rules and logic behind the Guided Selling process – without the need for complex or easily out-dated decision trees. Business users can make changes to logic that are pushed to the tools in real time, requiring no involvement from iGoDigital or internal IT resources. All assets, rules, and products involved in the Guided Selling experience are available within the administration system.
The key technology behind the Guided Selling Tool platform is iGoDigital's robust system for translating product attributes into buckets that can help group products by function, feature, environmental concerns and more. These buckets are defined generically so that new or changing products which fit the definition of a bucket automatically flow into the logic of existing tools – thus eliminating the need to support complex decision trees.
iGoDigital provides a variety of methods for integrating the Guided Selling Tools into client web sites. Tools can be implemented as pop-ups, pop-outs, Flash movies, IFRAMEs, and even in-line javascript. The platform also provides a rich API which allows customers to directly incorporate logic from Guided Selling into their own front-ends.
